The pump on the 820/830 is a serviceable part (if that is the source of the issue). Having serviced the Barista express before, it is possible to repair, if you take your time (and watch youtube). You cannot break it more than broken.

Finally getting around to giving this a good listen. In a word 'awesome'. Wild themes, well recorded, no apologies, certainly defies a pure classification by me.
