I've accidentally shut my car off trying to change the drive mode on the Volt, the buttons are right next to each other.

So their solution is to prevent you from shutting your car off when the car's moving. What are you going to do if the brakes fail, or when the gas pedal sticks? Seems like they're solving one issue by introducing a potentially far more dangerous one.
