It's actually Rauðafellsgjá but I guess that's about as much gobbeldy gook...  It's funny how related English and Icelandic are but the pronunciation is so different. 

Wow, that photo of mountains in France -- Pyrenees I assume -- looks a lot like my brother-in-law's painting of Zabriskie Point in Death Valley but with vegetation and snow.

Binned it at 208 mph and lived to talk about it.  

Good god - I'm astonished that was survivable.  I watched the crash and what was left, and felt kind of sick - until I saw that the guy lived, and pulled the passenger from the wreck!
