Not really, the North Star was acquired for a secondary purpose. But if it does sound as good as the Plinius incidentally, then that would be really cool.

And a good purchase there, Arcam makes solid stuff. Everyone should buy Arcam at some point!

They should. The guy I bought them from is the original owner, bought them in 1996 and never had anything done to them. Says they've got about 100 hours on them (though I never trust a sellers hour rating unless I know them.)

He was going to give them to a friend for helping him move, so the friend sold them and pocketed the cash.
