Fried turkey rocks. We're doing a turduckhen this year.

We have two 10 pounders. I will fry one and I think I'm going to smoke the other. I've never had turduckhen.

I haven't had the foul trio either. You can't fry that, can you? I like smaller turkeys too, Mike. Smoking one should be cool.

My smoker is arriving today, a day earlier so I may try to smoke a small chicken as dry run, if I can figure out how to use the Traeger. We like the smaller turkeys as well.

Yup, no frying of the turduckhen because it's pre-stuffed. Ideally, I'd get a turduckhen roll and a small bird to fry, but they had the big one at the store, so I bought it, instead of mail ordering the roll.
