Correct on the Parm but the green stuff was chimichurri. They were delicious.

Teriyaki beef tips -- I cut the cooking times in half (because all of mine were coming out well done with a burnt crust since that first one a couple weeks ago), and it came out perfect.

Tonight we have skirt steak seared with yellow squash and white onions in a sweet pineapple glaze over yellow jasmine rice cooked with cardamom, saffron fennel and garlic.

All they are just for 10 TL. FFS, It was so delicious, I do not even care what kind of meat they used, or even they used meat.

Today I decided to eat something fancy, Külbastı (A Turkish cuisine dish):

It's basicly chicken breast fillet, marinated with special spices and cooked on special grill. As you can see, it was served with grilled tomatoes, green pepper, rice, acılı ezme (spicy paste) and a mezze I do not know.

 

Since I cannot cook in my room, I'm discovering all nearby (Taksim, Harbiye, Beşiktaş, Nişantaşı etc.) places for food. So when you come to Istanbul, you'll know where to eat cheap and delicious or high performance/price ratio dishes.

Say that in the wrong neighborhoods in Los Angeles  and you may end up with something that used to bark or hide nuts for the winter.

Squirrel was not mentioned. You assume squirrel, but in actuality many bird species as well as Woodmice practice this. Heck, in cold winters I also try to hide my nuts.
