It hadn't snowed for over 2hrs so I decided to take care of clearing the driveway. I've been inside for 10 minutes, it's now snowing like a bastard again.

I've been up since 4:30am, and it still hasn't snowed yet, so hurray for that.

We got a bit less than a foot from thursday through monday, so it wasn't nearly as 'epic' as forecast. I was expecting to have to tunnel out.

I didn't shovel this morning, and almost died going down my driveway. I just got back home, and my driveway had melted. Since I survived, I made the right call

I didn't shovel neither, but I doubt it's going to melt, I didn't leave the house 'til after noon, and it didn't look like it was going anywhere. But since it's just a dusting, I'm not going to worry about it.

I was in Naples and I saw frost on the ground! They are predicting snow for Tampa.

F**king snow always ruins my plans. And somehow manages to pick the days it can most screw me over.

Not me, I didn't really want to spend > 3 hours on the road today (Emmitsburg, MD), so was glad to have an excuse.

Good excuse, traffic + any precipitation drives me nuts. I can't stop picturing a colon between the > and 3. >:3

"My" car broke down two weeks ago and my parents haven't bothered getting it fixed so I'm not able to easily commute, anyway.

How much longer do you guys have to put up with this? Can't be too much longer can it?

It's only the beginning of February. We've had freak snows in April before, and we're not exactly very far north.

Thankfully it only ended up being 3-4" or so, so shoveling this time around was reasonably quick.

Yup, spent 45 minutes shoveling the drive today, 6-8" but it was a nice, light powder.

But it's not supposed to warm up again until next weekend, and is supposed to snow off and on all week.

Ouch. Might make the drive north very interesting, hope not.

yeah I'm getting tired of Mother Nature taking a shit on my weekend riding plans.

Here's hoping that she doesn't fuck up next weekend, I have my first race on valentines day.

Didnt actually use my car for the drive, flew into Montgomery, AL Sunday and drove my grandmother's buick. Wish I had my car. Did get into a bit of snow in VA on Tuesday, but not too bad before we pulled off for the night.

I'm working from home. Around here people don't know now to drive in snow and it scares the shit of out me on the road at times. I was just thinking back to doing a 45min drive in a Michigan blizzard once, felt safer than I do around here when it's raining much less snowing. There, people know how to drive in snow!

Around here, people don't know how to drive when its 80 degrees and partly sunny.
