January 3, 201016 yr comment_311367 It hadn't snowed for over 2hrs so I decided to take care of clearing the driveway. I've been inside for 10 minutes, it's now snowing like a bastard again. Report
January 5, 201016 yr comment_312020 I've been up since 4:30am, and it still hasn't snowed yet, so hurray for that. We got a bit less than a foot from thursday through monday, so it wasn't nearly as 'epic' as forecast. I was expecting to have to tunnel out. Report

January 8, 201016 yr comment_313417 I didn't shovel this morning, and almost died going down my driveway. I just got back home, and my driveway had melted. Since I survived, I made the right call Report
January 8, 201016 yr comment_313468 I didn't shovel neither, but I doubt it's going to melt, I didn't leave the house 'til after noon, and it didn't look like it was going anywhere. But since it's just a dusting, I'm not going to worry about it. Report
January 8, 201016 yr comment_313522 I was in Naples and I saw frost on the ground! They are predicting snow for Tampa. Report
January 30, 201016 yr comment_320812 F**king snow always ruins my plans. And somehow manages to pick the days it can most screw me over. Report
January 30, 201016 yr comment_320815 Not me, I didn't really want to spend > 3 hours on the road today (Emmitsburg, MD), so was glad to have an excuse. Report
January 30, 201016 yr comment_320819 Good excuse, traffic + any precipitation drives me nuts. I can't stop picturing a colon between the > and 3. >:3 "My" car broke down two weeks ago and my parents haven't bothered getting it fixed so I'm not able to easily commute, anyway. Report
January 31, 201016 yr comment_320989 How much longer do you guys have to put up with this? Can't be too much longer can it? Report
January 31, 201016 yr comment_321038 It's only the beginning of February. We've had freak snows in April before, and we're not exactly very far north. Thankfully it only ended up being 3-4" or so, so shoveling this time around was reasonably quick. Report
January 31, 201016 yr comment_321061 Yup, spent 45 minutes shoveling the drive today, 6-8" but it was a nice, light powder. Report
January 31, 201016 yr comment_321062 But it's not supposed to warm up again until next weekend, and is supposed to snow off and on all week. Report
January 31, 201016 yr comment_321068 Ouch. Might make the drive north very interesting, hope not. Report

February 4, 201016 yr comment_322677 So, DC area head-casers...Friday, huh? Edited February 4, 201016 yr by Dusty Chalk Report
February 4, 201016 yr comment_322691 yeah I'm getting tired of Mother Nature taking a shit on my weekend riding plans. Here's hoping that she doesn't fuck up next weekend, I have my first race on valentines day. Report
February 5, 201016 yr comment_323002 And in the freshly paid-off car too...... Didnt actually use my car for the drive, flew into Montgomery, AL Sunday and drove my grandmother's buick. Wish I had my car. Did get into a bit of snow in VA on Tuesday, but not too bad before we pulled off for the night. Report
February 5, 201016 yr comment_323039 I'm probably just going to make an appearance at work, then I'm gone. Sick of this shit. Report
February 5, 201016 yr comment_323045 we're fuckedI went to weather.com, posted 22209 (where I work), clicked over to hour-by-hour, and when I got to tomorrow, sometime between 10am and later, this is exactly what it said. And then I turned on WTOP, Announcer: What do you have for us, Doug Hill? Doug Hill: Oh, we're fucked, Dean Lane. It's going to drop on us like a diarrheal flying cow that just ate the whole pasture. February 5, 201016 yr comment_323056 I'm working from home. Around here people don't know now to drive in snow and it scares the shit of out me on the road at times. I was just thinking back to doing a 45min drive in a Michigan blizzard once, felt safer than I do around here when it's raining much less snowing. There, people know how to drive in snow! Report
February 5, 201016 yr comment_323057 Around here, people don't know how to drive when its 80 degrees and partly sunny. Report
