Choose The new Dac. Now I use Spectral SDR-2000. Which of these to try?

Berkeley Alpha Series 2, Weiss Medea, Mark Levinson 30.6 or 390S

Better yet, use a phono stage.  That's really vintage!!  :)

Dammit, I thought it was 9...

I someone on the contrary says that Berkeley is 100 times better. Have to buy and try.

Do not understand. In my Spectral SDR-2000 analog output in the class A on transistors, and in Berkeley on the OPA. What is the world coming audio?

Not gonna lie. I lol'ed at this post.

What is the world coming indeed.

Spectral weight 52 lbs

Berkeley Alpha weight 9 lbs.

What's the catch?

The Berkeley Alpha weighs minus 9 pounds?  Yeah, what is the catch?

As DAC with such an easy analogue output may sound better than heavy class A?

The catch must be that it's easier to catch?
