February 3, 20206 yr Shakira – She Wolf Dignity is highly overrated Also – thank you for the half-time show And thanks to YouTube's algorithm... Take On Me (A-Ha) – Mariachi Entertainment System – wow, those high notes... Edited February 3, 20206 yr by HiWire
February 4, 20206 yr Look what showed up today... Maximum Impact – D_Drive – the best in classical Japanese metal guitar. I'm sure Bill and Ted would find it... Excellent! Edited February 4, 20206 yr by HiWire

February 9, 20206 yr Judy Garland - Judy at Carnegie Hall I can't tell her from her daughter, both voices sound alike.

I bought his "Jonas Fjeld Rock and Rolf Band" in the 1970s, on sale at Waidele in Gothenburg. A terrific, original and inspired recording making fun of present trends with a satire twist ("Bridge Over Tonic Water"). A forgotten masterpiece that still excites.
February 10, 20206 yr Nice to hear. It actually was Roon Radio that led me to this. And do you know what? Jump in car and head to Drammen. Jonas seems to be on stage tomorrow and the day after.
February 11, 20206 yr Stoned Meadows of Doom (YouTube channel) gave me Subrosa, More Constant than the Gods, but there were so many commercials that I switched to Tidal. That led to Messa, Feast for Water (also excellent), which led to Windhand, Eternal Return (also excellent), so I’ve been a happy randoom boy today. RIYL Chelsea Wolfe, doomy metal, female vocals, goth, death rock.
February 13, 20206 yr Obviously, a new singer, new album. So, I figured I'd listen on Quboz, hear a few power chords from a past their prime band, get bored, and move on. Well, no power chords on this album. All of the songs are mellow, acoustic, and frankly, pretty enjoyable. I've never really been into Stone Temple Pilots, but this may as well be another band with another name. A definite feeling of brooding throughout the album. Edited February 13, 20206 yr by robm321
February 13, 20206 yr ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Madonna I've been all in on these guys lately.
