I donated a knife and $300 gift certificate I bought at toorknives.com to the Green Beret Foundation, to raffle off to raise money for the them. The GBF said up a classy.org page to buy a ticket. I asked Toor to do this since they have 11K followers on IG compared to my 54 and would better be able to promote it. They are a veteran owned small business and make some cool fixed knives. I then contacted GBF and they agreed to set up a donation page and promote it on social media. I'm going to use this thread to welcome new members and provide inspiring messages to them. Welcome gwrskien! hope you are having a phenomenal day and you find what you are looking for at headcase. remember the best part of screwing up dinner is you can always order a pizza. and pizza is awesome, no matter who you are, unless you can't eat cheese. some places have that vegan cheese though which is pretty good. oily but good.

Crazy to think that the 5th Annual Walk for Belonging is here. I joined the board of directors of Communities of Belonging just before the first walk. They have all been motivating and enriching. Originally called "Second Chance Walk" in 2022, a part of April being Second Chance Month. So have a quick/short vacation possibly coming up and although have been nearby previously (GC, Bryce, Zion, etc.), we've not done the John Ford wet dream yet. Researching now, but anyone have any suggestions of specific buttes, mesas, petroglyphs, or other sites to visit? Even a preference between the two areas? Driving our rough & tumble Mini Countryman, so everything is on the table.
