Wild and Crazy Go Nuts!

  1. Started by Craig Sawyers,

I couldn't find a thread to post this to, so here's a new thread. So UPS failed to deliver a package yesterday, just before the long Easter weekend - so now I won't get it until Tuesday next week. Bastards. I thought I'd sign up for real time tracking. I'm taken to a page to set up to get this, and find a tick box that says "I confirm that I've been given enough time to read and understand the UPS Technology Agreement" So I thought I'd click the download button to have a look at it. 96 pages. Doing a word count, it is 58,887 words long Which is almost exactly twice the length of the longest Shakespeare play (Hamlet)! That has to be the outer edge of ri…

So I've been thinking about getting a cat for a few months now and I've started narrowing down the breeds I'm interested in. Here's the short list so far: British Shorthair Scottish Flop Siberian Any other suggestions from fellow head-case cat owners?

Well, I am not a father myself and not entirely sure that I will ever be one, but this day still means a hell of a lot to me and given the demographic of our group, I assume it means as much to many of you. Happy father's day to all the dads and to everyone else thinking of their fathers and grandfathers. Wish you all the very best.

HAVE FIXED MY COMPUTER !! FINALLY, after going through a virus attack, losing a hard drive, fighting off hackers, upgrading all my software, installing firewalls, being threatened with being cut-off by my email provider, and a host of other problems... I have fixed my computer... and NOW it works exactly the way I want it to! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

  14. This really confuses me. When inane posts (perceived differently by any given reader) are cleaned up and mods step in to control the quality of posts, or kick out idiots (again, alledged differently by each reader) we are called the Nazi Police, or are blamed for "over-moderation". Everyone needs different things from a forum and sometimes, no matter what direction moderation goes in, it can be considered poor management by anyone at any given time. Moderators can only try to do what they think are right and aren't going to please everyone, all of the time. And consistency, can be tough. Hell, even our government and major corporations that have been around 50+ years, sti…

I'm not sure if anyone here watches/ed Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch, but Phil Harris, the captain of Cornelia Marie the ship that has been prominently featured on the show, has passed away as a result of a stroke. He will me missed. Deadliest Catch : Discovery Channel

Lately I've been trying to follow the push-up routine from one hundred push ups, which sounds like a good idea: 100 push-ups within a couple of weeks. Let's see if it works out (I started out at 19 max). Do you have a workout routine you use or can recommend, especially to gain some upper body strength and mass? Not trying to look good on the beach (there's isn't one here anyway), just want a more healthy mix between an underdeveloped upper body and soccer-abused lower body.
