Hey everyone, I just signed up to do the 2014 Tour de Cure to help fight diabetes. It's going to be nice to have more than 3-4 weeks to train for it this year, but I'll make it no matter what. If anyone would like to donate, or even sign up to ride with me (hey, it could happen), click the link below and check it out. I did this last year and found out many more people that I knew are touched by this than I ever knew... even family members who came out to me, and I found out my late grandmother even had it. Just wanted to wish all dads a Happy Father's Day today. Busy day for us, brunch w/in-laws, a visit to my dad, a graduation party, and MAYBE a dinner out, TBD. My wife Karen comes into our kitchen, where Andrew and I are talking. She steps back into the hallway, and says, "Andrew come here a minute...." Being the 15-yo boy, he annoyingly asks, "What....?!" And I reply, "Mom wants you to sign my card...." Nice chuckles all around. I told him he better write something good or I'll keep beating the shit out of him. I'm not the perfect dad, he's not the perfect son, but I am so much in love with this kid!
