I'll be out at the show as usual, so anybody that wants a free guest pass, hit me up before Friday Feb 9. If anybody would like to come and hang out either before during or after, let's do it!

Thrice threw a party, and it turns out it was mostly a head-case meet. I had a blast, and got to hear HE90s from a shuffle. My life is complete.

I am moving to Cooperstown, New York at the end of May, 2013. My girlfriend will be the only one I know. Any Head-Casers up in that area? Otsego County, Herkimer (sp?), middle of nowhere, New York State? Let's get a couple of micro meets every now and again. Also, we can car-pool to the NYC meet in the fall (we will rent an Audi R8 from Hertz; there's enough space for a portable rig).

Its been way too long since I have seen any of you guys. Last time we drank together was actually my 21st birthday over a year ago! I am finishing finals on Dec 21st and would love to get a drink with all of you local troublemakers. Lets plan what day works best for everyone and do something before the year ends. I will be free any evening after Dec 22nd!

I was curious if anyone here is from New Orleans. I am guessing not, but who knows. I am hoping to put a local meet together sometime. I am not sure when, but my guess is that it will not be for at least a few months. If you are from the area, come say hello.

Just thought I'd give you So Cal folks a heads up. This year the Audio Engineering Society's big US convention is happening at the LA Convention Center. If you move fast (the deadline is tomorrow) you can still register for an exhibit hall pass for free. I'm not sure how much they'll charge at the event but it's usually not very much. Anyway, even though there won't be much in the way of headphones and headphone gear, if you'd like to see how the other half lives and the kinda stuff we like to drool over, check it out. Ron (HiFlight) is a member of a Yatch Club in Fort Myers and has access to a large salon. He already hosted a meet there and IMO it is a very nice venue at a good per person cost of $15 including lunch (soup, sandwich bar, and cookies). If there is interest I will post pictures of the location and of the water views from the salon. I personally was surprised at how nice the Fort Myers downtown, pictures are also available. Audio Expo North America - AXPONA: Home Page For the uninitiated, see the link above for info on Axpona. It's pretty much an audio show that Stereophile is sponsoring in the Jacksonville area. Axpona was actually advertised at RMAF '09 and a couple weeks ago I finally booked my flight. This time I fully intend on doing some touristy stuff in Florida, since I didn't get to do anything touristy the last two times I was there. I take it March should be a good time of year for that? So will anyone else also be there? Anyone know if we could convince these guys to do a headphone display room?

My family and I are heading to Minneapolis-St. Paul for a concert on April 6, and staying for a few days. I don't know if any of the regulars here are from the Twin Cities, but if anyone wants to grab a beer, let me know.

Just a heads up to my fellow GTA-based migrants, it appears there's been some heavy interest in a meet sometime soon. I have put myself out there as organizer if it ends up going anywhere, but there's no way I'm hosting a room of gangly highschool students unless the usual suspects are interested...
