Meets

I am not sure if one wants to keep track of it and maybe even wants to think about joining "the Big One" but here's a link to the thread where we're currently debating...well..certain stuff Netherlands meet - Page 9 - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio It's covering the talk about 2 meets: A Pre-Party-for-the-unpatient-ones somewhere in the beginning of the year and a "CanJam-Ass-Kicker" (not that that is possible ) but it'll most likely be around May-April.

Anyone up for a New England meet at my place (just outside Concord, NH)? I'm free any weekend in June. First priority to try and accommodate JBLoudG20 since he's bringing my amp. I guess we can go from there. I have quite a bit of gear, all the electrostat stuff listed in my sig.

This is aimed at jpizzle, and nate: Would one of you be willing to host a meet for the three of us, as suggested in another thread? The weekend that was looking the best, was that of August 11-12. Would we all be able to make it then?

I know it's really a Head-Fi meet, but is anybody else going? I'd feel pretty wierd being the only person there on headcase. \

Hey guys, just wanted to let y'all know that there's going to be another meet in Nashville, this time on September 20th. I'll post the link to the HF thread (I know, grumble grumble) below. Last one was pretty great, really good people even with the low attendance (first guy who tried to set it up was abducted by aliens or some such and caused a bunch of people not to be able to attend). Lot of Grados last time for whatever reason, along with the Audez'e, Mr Speakers, Beyerdynamic, etc that you'd expect. Music City Meet - Fall Edition Anyway, hope to see some of you guys there! I was curious if anyone here is from New Orleans. I am guessing not, but who knows. I am hoping to put a local meet together sometime. I am not sure when, but my guess is that it will not be for at least a few months. If you are from the area, come say hello.

Just a heads up there is a meet in NorCal this Saturday 11am-6pm at Zocalo Coffee House in San Leandro. The summer NorCal meet is set up for Saturday 6/28/2008 in San Mateo at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in the Iris room. The room is 1100 square feet and will hold 18 6 foot tables. This set up should hold up to 36 member rigs or less with vendor set ups. We have the room from 10am to 6pm we have power on all four walls but members will need to bring power strips to distribute power. I will be contacting the usual vendors to see if there is an interest in coming to our meet. Craig from Eddie Current has said he should be there with a new amp that he has been fine tuning since CanJam. Ok folks I know some of us are still nursing hangovers from CanJam but there seems to be enough excitement left to schedule one of our regular meets. Date Saturday August 8th from 10am to 6pm Place TBD I am speaking with a few places, the Hilton Garden Inn in San Mateo is not available on that date so I am checking with other area hotels

Ok it's a bit of a long-shot but it looks like Mike and I are planning to hit the NYC century ride Sept 9th. I'm not doing the 100 mile ride but there are options for all levels 15-100 miles. I'll likely choose the 55 or 75 mile option, 6000 cyclists ride the event and this year there is a bike an bites feature that have many NYC restaurants participating. This is not a race per say but should be a lot of fun and burn enough calories to enjoy a few great beers and great meals. We could throw in a mini meet and maybe try and finagle a trip to OMA audio! So the New York City Century is on September 8 this year. So far, Mike B., JP Numbers and I plan to attend......anyone else interested in riding and/or hanging out and drinking insane amounts of beer that weekend?

Its been way too long since I have seen any of you guys. Last time we drank together was actually my 21st birthday over a year ago! I am finishing finals on Dec 21st and would love to get a drink with all of you local troublemakers. Lets plan what day works best for everyone and do something before the year ends. I will be free any evening after Dec 22nd!

I'm going to head in for a few days to see what's new in headphones but would really prefer to use it as an excuse to see some friends I miss and haven't seen in a long while. Any takers on a Head-Case contingent at the NYC CanJam in Feb?
