Spent two hours with my arm elbow deep in a 100 year old drain clean-out trying to dislodge a clog only to discover that the drain stopper had been engaged.4 points

Thanks gents. Nice evening in town, managed to walk back to the hotel through Soho at midnight without getting punched in the face and now contemplating the minibar, which is better than usual.3 points

At least you didn't break anything. I attempted to do a toilet tank repaired for my sister but ending up destroying it instead. Time to buy her a new one.2 points

Done on both accounts. I wish you must ride the "true" century2 points

Meets are a bad place to judge. I was at a mini meet at a dealers place yesterday and first listened to the Utopia on some Questyle stuff and would not have bought them after that listen. Nothing special. Then the dealer set me up in a private room where I had my L-2 hooked up to a $15K MSB spinner and some Kimber balanced cable. I listened to the Utopia, Elear and my HD800s. There was no contest between the HD800 and the Utopia or the Elear I would say, except with soundstage. The HD800 just sounded thin. I said first that the HD800 may get kicked to the curb, not that it was on par. I like different sounds so may keep them. After the session I walked away with a Utopia and an Elear (for my friend who was with me and builds my amps). Listening at home confirmed what I heard at the shop. I had previously bought other phones like LCD-2, HE-6 looking for the missing bass in the top end stuff. Those had other issues either being veiled or muddy. The Utopia has all the bass and none of the downsides. Sorry Al & Wayne, you're gonna need a pair of these (:2 points

Hey everyone! My son Xavier and I have been training this year, riding hundreds of miles on the roads and the trainer, to prepare for the 2016 Tour de Cure! We hope you will support us in our efforts to help wipe out diabetes! This is my 4th year doing this ride, and Xavier's 3rd. With Xavier's new road bike this year, he wanted to push a bit further on the ride. If we meet our goals, we're going to do the 40 mile route. If we hit a combined 2900$ - representing the 29 million people living with diabetes in the U.S. - we will do a metric century! If we stretch and hit 5000$ combined, we will do our best to do the *gulp* full century ride. Xavier's page Brent's page For a little added incentive, my team (BlueCrossBlueShield of Tennessee) is doing a drawing for a Haro Flightline One bike. Every 5$ is one entry, with 5 for 20$. If one of you wins it, we'll figure something out. Thanks for looking, Brent1 point

I managed to get to the Dixie Pig and satisfy that corn dog jones today. No pic for what are you eating now because, well, it's gone now. )1 point

Heh, we'll have to dig deep both physically and fiscally to make the century, but if I do it, I'll do it! **BRENT** Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk1 point

Yes yes, but which portable amp should I get to power my new Utopias -- the minifartZ XT2.2 or the Happystyle Pooku Yay? Opinions appear to differ on HF.1 point

Glad to hear you liked them as much as I do. I moved my HD800S to my office and I'm very glad I kept it. The Utopia is the one I'd reach for if they were both together, but having 800S at work and Utopia at home is the best (and most expensive) of both worlds. Gotta give kudos to Jude for being way out in front of the pack on these. Some may boo and hiss, but I think Jude has become the second most important reviewer in the hobby after only Tyll. Jude's calls lately have been spot on.1 point

No, I watched two last night. But given the time I could binge on this all day. Not at all draining to me.1 point

Please keep the impression coming Andy. I have been on the fence about the Utopia for a long time and really want one.1 point

Hi Leve, Thanks for the reply. Located the 3900pf piece. Using the reference provided the 1000pf cap comes up as a ceramic disc cap made by Murata and indicating obsolete. Yes, I can that disc space is limited, but may have to think of a different way to locate if it does not fit. Cheers!1 point

For the encores, Bill Frissell and Bob Weir came out to play. Tomorrow Never Knows by the Beatles was the closer. Amazing stuff. https://vimeo.com/1831679451 point
