Back at Chicago Hyatt O'Hare for a conference. A lot fewer headphones than I remember being here last time. Must have redecorated. I will see if any of you guys are still banned from the Hotel before I leave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk7 points

I'm Thai and I appreciate your condolence very very much. He was truly a great king...someone who I greatly revered. I'm now even more worried about what to come next as most Thais don't share the same level of respect toward the crown Prince.6 points

RIP to the King of Thailand. Anyone who has ever been to Thailand or even eaten at a Thai restaurant (every one I've ever been to has hung his portrait) knows how much the Thai people loved their king. He was a modern, progressive, stabilizing force. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/14/world/asia/thai-king-bhumibol-adulyadej-dies.html3 points

Great article! I remember a college acquaintance who lived near me in our dorm, he was from Thailand. He had a picture of Bhumibol in his room, and indeed had glowing praise. He went on to a mid-to-high level position in one of the bigger banks there, and credited the King with a "tempered modernization" that people seemed to love. RIP to the King. And wishing for a peaceful and good transition for Thailand.2 points

Does not seem so as one headfi report from rmaf mentions it has a tough time sounding more full bodied than a mere sr207... Maybe there was a 1 decimal error in the yuen / usd conversion? arnaud1 point

That was the best possible outcome from that game. Savior draft pick is awesome, and still doesn't help Toronto!1 point

The new Orpheus is what, $55k? That's a full 10% better. I'll take one of those. And a BHSE/Carbon/Stax rig? Please. That's, like, what, conceivably $10k max? This is at least 5 times better, lmao... I'm going back to the summit-fi forum... plebs.1 point

As a gay man I'm given a secret packet that greatly expands my abilities on certain skill sets. One of those being interior design. While I'm not supposed to impart any of that knowledge to heterosexual America, I will go so far as to suggest that some strategically placed artwork could marry these sound transducers to your living room.1 point

Reks1 reminds me of my 8th grade engrish teacher. Thanks for letting me know my opinion is wrong because its not the same as yours. Will not change the fact that I much prefer their new bracelets. Also, you are more dumber. Why is everything always sexual with you Steve?1 point

Finding myself in need of a stand for my Lambdas and being unwilling to pay the $75 that Stax wants for the HPS-2, I built my own interpretation for free using of scrap lumber from a previous project. In recent years I've developed an allergy to simple butt joints, so dados and rabbets abound in my version.1 point
