We only ponder the hundreds of ways to season cast iron. We don't actually cook with it!4 points

Thanks all! We're pretty damn proud of him. Now if he'd only clean his room4 points

I recommend four parts drinking wine to one part cooking with wine. The dish may end up tasting like ass but you wont give a shit. So I call that a win.3 points

Just give him virus of being audiophile, to prevent dust he'll clean his room fine. (That is what happened to me.) Also yesterday we did the meeting I organized with some of my friends in my Hometown. It was perfect. We made BBQ in a private garden that belongs to my father's friends. Beef and chicken marinated by myself and ofc Raki!! And Another good news: For job agreement, I'm going to move to Istanbul soon. So any Head-Case members living nearby or want to visit Istanbul are also most welcome.2 points

No, we're planning on staying in the upper east side. Turns out it's still one of the better values in NYC.2 points

We've got the HE400i on sale for $249 also (we sold out on Amazon). http://www.headamp.com/order/hifiman-he400i-planar-magnetic-headphones/ To sweeten the deal, Head-Casers can use the coupon code headcase10 to take 10% off any headphones on our website, excluding STAX.2 points

Michael sent some boards down to me, and I did a test fit of a stereo TKD 2CP-2500. Fit is perfect! This is an older pot with the wider 3 mm terminals; the group buy pots should have the newer 2.5mm terminals, so will fit easily, The quad pots have 2 more decks than the stereo pot at the same spacing, so will also fit perfectly. Also, be very careful when soldering either a CP601 or CP2500 in. Do not bridge the holes shown in the red arrows below. There was no getting around this on these boards with the pots concentric with one another. EDIT: Alps quad fits perfectly as well. Installed it and works great, much better than the wired up piece of veroboard I was using.1 point

LS50ies are a safe bet, if you need bookshelves. The ELAC coax bookshelves look nice, but i can't understand the advantage of using a 3-way arrangement if you have 5-6" woofers. And yeah, get a sub if you can.1 point

You're moving?! Good luck with your new setup and abode. Following Dusty's train of thought, I believe the standard HC approved option is Kef LS50 with sub? Rear ported so still needs space in the back. Not having any experience with WAF, my personal choice would of course be a Quad ESL 63.1 point

You take care of stray animals, to a degree few of us here would. That says a lot about your character and humanity. I and I'm sure others recognize and commend that. Don't worry about getting our hopes up for the future of our country and world Off politics for a bit: my son got his first acceptance to college 2 days ago, along with $22k/yr scholarship award offer! BUT....the letter said it was Early Decision (binding). We confirmed we had sent Early Action (non-binding), so Andrew talked with admissions. New letter to come, still accepted right away, still the $22k/yr, and non-binding. It's too bad this is 3rd or 4th choice for Andrew. It happens to be closest to us and the only school in state he liked. But I think it bodes well for other schools......1 point
