  30. It's slightly dark in here.
  31. I finally finished this one today after about... 4 years or so... Let's just say that I hate anything with umbilical cables... Besides the madness of using 4 mains transformers and the super short filament winding's for the CCS tubes this was easy enough. Running at +/-400V off a BHSE power supply with the dropper resistor and zeners to feed the front end. Only main difference is the 12VDC supply used to heat the front end tubes so the board was cut up pretty bad. Next one will use the Megatron V2 pcb's in about 3 years or so...
  32. No good can come of this.
  33. What is this meet you speak of?
  34. Maybe I'm missing something, but the Pass(ish) I/V stages seem a bit silly. The input impedance of a JFET is always going to be higher than that of a BJT past a few mA, because its transconductance is lower. The matched JFETs are necessary for input offset, but a JFET running at IDSS makes a lousy current source. Just about all of them use at least one output coupling cap, if not two. If you haven't come across it already, highly recommend checking out the Hawksford paper on I/V stages. I would try running a common base BJT very hot, without feedback.
  35. Anybody who is coming to the show today, it's on the 6th floor. Just come into the main ballroom and find my booth on the rightmost row to get your badge. Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk
  36. Pretty fresh out! I'm going to catch the Chelsea/Arsenal game at Legends with the NYC Blues supporters club. Should be lively. Let me know where the brunch activity is later and I'll track back to catch up there. [emoji898]

Haven't picked up a watch in forever and I guess I have been talking about them a lot lately as I have gotten two this week for gifts. Had looked at Shinola quite a bit in recommending them for friends but never picked one up for myself. Seems like a decent watch. Also got a fancy Apple Watch that I need to open up. All blacked out with metal link band so I need to decide if I like the Dusty treatment or really need an Apple Watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  45. Yes, but you thought that Krispy Creme was >>> Britt's. So your judgement is very much in question.
