  21. Yum, acidbasement! Infatuated with Onyx Coffee Labs offerings. They got a bit she-she with the packaging an unfortunately dropped the quantity included (looks like a Niemann Marcus offering...LOL), but boy the Kenya Rungeto Peaberry I'm drinking (Chemex drip brewed) is delumpsh. HS

  22. I do, I was recently listening to Gone to Earth by David Sylvian and Sleeps with Fishes by Pieter Nooten. I was listening to energetic Yello as well as... mellow Yello.

  25. Evidently the MixPre does not stream to Audition to record so they recommended I try Reaper. .Holy Fuck, that software is like something that someone that has never seen a computer, heard a noise or breathed air designed it. Makes no fucking sense whatsoever.

  29. That being said, I'm inclined to do another GB if there's enough interest. I've learned a bit and I know some other vendors I could work with. Plus I think it would be cool to have other colors besides just plain black.

  32. It's funny though. The Parsons Russell is said to play fetch until your arm falls off, and they're prone to chewing household items if not kept entertained. Suzy has 0 interest in fetching or even playing with a ball or stick. She prefers to tear the sqeakers out of plush toys. She has never chewed anything in my house, other than her own before mentioned plush toys. She does have the intelligence of the Parsons and the Border Collie. And the sweet disposition of the Bulldog.

  33. Just got Suzy's DNA results. She is 0% Jack Russel. However she is between 37-74% Parsons Russell. I tend to think it's closer to 74%, as she looks exactly like many of the photos. She's also between 10-20% Border Collie and between 10-20% Bulldog. Who knew? She's a Border Bull Russell.

  42. That is awful. I have two friends in their 50s that are living through this. One has been through hell and back and is still here. The other went into remission for it to come back to the extent he has to wear a bag permanently. If ever there was a case for extending screening to those younger than 60, all these horrible examples would stand a much better fighting chance.

  43. Well, THAT sucked. After much futzing (hours worth) I figured out the problem. In OS X speak "Mic access" means access ANY audio input devices. My laptop had a security burp (possibly brought on by an update, unsure) that revoked mic access to most of the apps that previously had it -- including mixlr. I eventually sorted out that problem, then got mixlr working with both of my audio devices. A casualty in all this was 3 years of show recordings. I have them backed up, but now I have to fish them off Time Machine, which will take several hours. /wrist as the kids say. Show will probably be on tomorrow night.
