All done. You can see that the back is pretty tidy w/short interconnects.

CraZy nice Steve! Curious to hear how it stacks up to the Buffalo.

They are fairly different in presentation. The Buffalo I'd call more technically accurate, while the Parasound is more colored. It's a fun coloration though, and for sub $500.00, a pretty darned nice DAC IMO.

I tend to like the Parasound more with the Beta22, and the Buffalo more with the F5. The Zdac makes the Beta a bit more musical, but the F5 already is, so the more neutral Buffalo serves it well.

The Parasound stack does a damned nice job driving the K1000 in it's own right, but both the Beta22 and the Pass F5 are a bit more discerning. A very cool office rig however, IMO.

Nice! Looks superb!

However ... that handle. You really think a kitchen cabinet handle can handle (ahem) that weight?

Sure it can. I used some fender washers on the underside.

Do you have some analog cables with the channels flipped?

Yep, good catch! Actually had the right channels on the reverse inputs. The power amps are correct however. That's the way they connect in mono.

I now hate you.

That usually doesn't happen until after I've had sex with someone.

I really like the portability! I can just unplug the power cables, grab the handle and carry to the motor home, a friends house (one I haven't had sex with), a meet, or wherever.
