Moon’s energy back there on the drum kit is wild. The first mini rock opera. During the whole melee, John Entwhistle just stands still and plays the bass until he does the last verse in falsetto. If you haven't watched The Kids Are Alright, you should. Many more examples of Moon Madness and all the rest. Great interview breaks, including Keith and Ringo both totally lit. I've posted it before, but this is me and my Whomobile about a year after watching The Kids Are Alright when it first came out and months after my first Who concert where I spray painted the logo in the Oakland Arena parking lot. August 13, 20224 yr comment_891066 @Hopstretch -- who was that guy who had a really groovy sound and French female backup singers and keyboardist (perhaps he was French)? I can't remember his name and I need to look him up again, and hear more music by him. I vaguely remember finding a video of an entire concert from him at a beach house or something. Report

November 16, 20223 yr comment_897955 So the Grammy nominations are out... boy am I out of touch with popular tastes. Put a few song of the year candidates on and this isn't bad! I don't think Olivia Rodrigo has much to worry about from this girl but the song is a bit of an ear worm. Report

January 29, 20233 yr comment_904000 Apparently remixes of the White Lotus theme song are hit bangers at the clubs. Honestly… its not bad! Report
January 29, 20233 yr comment_904013 the original theme is fine, I liked how they "evolved" it from season 1 to the second, but the remix is kind of too generic. Dance shit. Report

April 22, 20233 yr comment_911374 Tracey's voice has definitely "aged" - not necessarily in a bad way. Their new album Fuse is pretty nice, they kept going with the modern sound and it's quite good (as much as I loved their more ballad-like songs). Report
April 22, 20233 yr comment_911383 I haven't listened to Fuse yet, but it's in my "to do" list. Her voice change makes me wonder if she's a smoker. She's not that old to have such a noticeable downshift in her voice pitch. I like it anyway. Still my favourite album of theirs is Idlewild. Report
