I agree mostly, but if there is a meaning within something that can be enjoyed without looking for it (like good literature) then it's fine. If the meaning or message is the central part of the work, I find it inferior to something with better presentation and no meaning. Of course this is all general, but I prefer to not have to go sleuthing for messages in my arts.

Actually I never have. I chuckled a bit, but I'd be one of those pricks if I made more money.

I like BMWs, but not enough to pay for them. However, the boss insists on owning BMWs so I get her castoffs. The current castoff is a 2000 323i. At least I was smart enough to get the Sports Package when we ordered it.

^^^ Saw this on Letterman last night, funny stuff. He was doing a parody of the 60 Minutes special on the H1N1 vaccine, and showed this as a reason why it's not as "available" as it should be.....

1) Those shelves were clearly not strong enough for the loads they were under. Besides it was just vodka. Not something precious like gin.
