Jeff, I suggest you just make Brent hold an umbrella above it. He can also open the doors for you (white gloves suggested) and fall on your neighbors/their cars if they look like they are going to ding it.

Thanks.   Need to do a lot of reading to figure out how everything works.  The Audi Connect is very cool as it uses Google Satellite maps and intelligence so I can ask it things like, what is the highest rated yelp chinese restaurant in the area and it goes out and finds it and gives me directions.  I am disappointed that this car comes with the stupid 30 Pin iPhone cable like the VW.  Those phones have been off the market for years, why won't VAG figure that shit out.

Jeff, you could just BT stream to the radio and then all you have to worry about is a charging solution for the phone which is pretty simple to deal with.   Otherwise, I agree, bizarre choice to still be outfitting these cars with outdated cables.

VW gave me a 30 pin and a lightning mdi cable with my beetle.  Your dealer should be able to do the same.  I actually preferred the 30, because I had an extension cable already, and a 30 pin to lightning adapter.  Worked great.

Yeah, bluetooth will be all I use, just pisses me off that they are so out of date.
