December 19, 20187 yr comment_799656 I'm pretty sure I dismissed it as dork fantasy in 2007. Finishing the first disc of Season 1 and the show's writing has surprised me with its combo of smarts, humor, and sheer entertainment value. And Sarah in her underwear... less surprising with each episode, but much appreciated nonetheless. Something else I noticed recently... when I'm reading Wikipedia entries on older tv shows, a lot of them are starting to mention the soundtracks getting pulled or replaced due to music rights. I've never been the sort of person interested in the lives of the rich and famous but this series (so far, just finished season 1) is so lavish and extravagant that it's almost as if David Lean came back to make a "high end tv show". Wonderful scenery, sets, costumes and acting. Report
February 9, 20197 yr comment_801642 Russian Doll - had a hard time sticking with this show for the first 2 episodes, but boy, it turned out interesting by ep 3. It goes quick as episodes are short and only 8. Velvet Buzzsaw, affected but I enjoyed the trip nonetheless. Dark - Think German version of Stranger Things, but very much better in every aspect. The best show I've seen on Netflix so far. Starting with Season 3 of Expanse Report
