The Monkey
Here's the APC H15 I got recently: I wanted black, but I got the silver for $200 less. Is there an easy way to paint it black? The face plate is some sort of metal. Any ideas about how to make it, well, less silvery?
oogabooga
Airbrush? I remember those from my model airplane days - they'd give a nice, even coat.
spritzer
Masking tape? You could spray it but it would never look nice and it would have no resale value.
n_maher
Just find a way to tuck it behind something and out of sight. No sense worrying about what color it is.
grawk
It's a nyc apt, he doesn't have anywhere to hide anything
guzziguy
Krylon? Of course then you'll have to find a place to hide it.
luvdunhill
recase it into something like this: There's a guy on ebay that sells them for a good price ... cannot find the link for some reason now though
Duggeh
Rearrange your setup in such a way that it creates a nice silver line of symmetry through the black?

Fitz
Rearrange your setup in such a way that it creates a nice silver line of symmetry through the black? Don't bring logical and practical solutions into this! Spraypaint the motherfucker.

Duggeh
One cannot say that one approves of all of this approval. One would not wish to go so far as to say that one disapproves of course. One would however caution against the proliferation of approval in general terms.

Hopstretch
Black ones are >$400. Silver ones are <$150.
en480c4
Send it to me for modifications. I'll also perform mods you didn't authorize, take months to do it, charge for some of the mods, but then offer others for free to offset delays in shipping. Then I'll promise to ship it more times than you can count. Hell, I'll even offer to fly it back to you once delays become intollerable. Then I'll probably just send something other than what you originally sent me. Deal?
The Monkey
Deal. As long as what you do finally send me does not work.
en480c4
Deal. Send me a fully function silver APC and I'm sure I can get you a non-functioning black Monster Power unit in 6-8 months.
