Here's the APC H15 I got recently:

I wanted black, but I got the silver for $200 less. Is there an easy way to paint it black? The face plate is some sort of metal. Any ideas about how to make it, well, less silvery?

Airbrush? I remember those from my model airplane days - they'd give a nice, even coat.

Masking tape? You could spray it but it would never look nice and it would have no resale value.

Just find a way to tuck it behind something and out of sight. No sense worrying about what color it is.

One cannot say that one approves of all of this approval. One would not wish to go so far as to say that one disapproves of course. One would however caution against the proliferation of approval in general terms.

Black ones are >$400. Silver ones are <$150.

Send it to me for modifications. I'll also perform mods you didn't authorize, take months to do it, charge for some of the mods, but then offer others for free to offset delays in shipping. Then I'll promise to ship it more times than you can count. Hell, I'll even offer to fly it back to you once delays become intollerable. Then I'll probably just send something other than what you originally sent me. Deal?
