  • So a while back I washed my jh13's and one earpiece had a hole so the drivers got wet. Decided I had enough, put them in a draw and forgot about them. A week or so ago, I decided to see if they could

  • I may be going on a limb here but I am guessing you prefer your 780p monitor over your friend's 4K Samsung. My brother in law had the same preference when he told his wife on their twenty second

I just bought the TTVJ Slim™ and I am happy with that choice after comparing them, albeit briefly, and I like the size of the TTVJ Slim™ better.

The goal is for us all to have the same rig.

Good idea, so everyone can understand when other/s speak of how new stuff sounds :P You still have to define the source. iPhone/iTouch maybe? Then the music ;D

Tyler, are the "solid" colors completely solid or are they just a bit transparent? I have seen differing reports.

Just a bit transparent. I can make out armatures inside the pieces with them in my hand, but you can't see anything inside them when they're in your ear (or, rather, someone else's ears)

Everything is transparent if you're backlit by a hydrogen bomb going off.

Will test. In any case, the lighting coming out of my ears is minimal.

Recommended JH13 track: Radiohead - Amnesiac Track 1. The bass, my god the bass

You really should choose sky water blue because black isn't any less stealthy because you're white. [/kai]

Funny, this is why I chose light translucent blue for mine, very stealthy for a smurf, but not too bad for a very white person.

I guess it depends how cold you are.

True, this guy could have Shelley's in his ears in that pic and you could never tell.

Missing pic?

If my JH13's are ever missing, I know where to look.

So him and Gary Numan are proto-smurfs? Or very cold.

I now want to see Immortal colorized smurf-blue, for some reason.

Hmm, I don't seem to be able to see the pic that Al linked (only the quote of Dusty's response). Is there something wrong with my browser's settings or am I just not worthy the mighty Voltron's links?

Sweet, I received shipping confirmation the day after I got the "in the lab" status so you should get yours soon. UPS Standard to Canada is surprisingly slow though, but if they don't screw up anything I should get my package tomorrow.

got the same notice yesterday :o

Kelvin, where did you go to get your molds made?

heya! I got my molds made at Audiology Hearing Aids Bellevue, WA | Factoria Hearing Center

They were very nice and told me to come back if I had any problems with my molds. Plus they initially were going to charge me $150 for the molds, but ended up only charging me $75.

Let them know I sent you if you go and see if they can do the same $75 deal

question for people from the north. what's your thought on how these fair in the cold? i normally just use these at the apartment or hospital, never outdoors, but as it gets colder, i'm wondering how even transporting these things in my bag is going to affect them.

It's -4 F here in balmy Colorado today, and the JH13 fare just fine. The cables are pretty much like bent paperclips, and I honestly did 0 research into whether it's advisable to have the drivers outdoors in this temperature, but they played music real purty.

The moisture getting into your phones from your ear canal might freeze and cause damage when not in your ears possibly?

Possible. Certainly possible.

Possible. Certainly possible.

See. This is why I tell people that they should shove them up their bum. Its for your own good.
