June 27, 200817 yr If you look at the Richard Pierce review on amazon for this book it sums up exactly what I think of this book. Exceptionally clear writing and highly recommended.

July 3, 200817 yr did I already post this? I started it a few weeks back, then got caught up in something else, now I'm back into it. Its really really good. Sometimes Stephenson's prose gets a little too fast and tangent-y for me, but his random bits of laugh out loud humor keep me interested until I get a feel for the characters.
July 3, 200817 yr Yeah, that's one of my favorites by him. It just gets better and better until the end, and then it's just over.
August 9, 200817 yr Inglorious Basterds (sic) -- I really hope this movie gets made, it'll make up for Deathproof. Insta-classic. I would even go so far as to suggest that he leaked it on purpose, because he knows how good it is. Edited August 9, 200817 yr by Dusty Chalk
September 15, 200817 yr I'm trying swann's way again after it proved too much for my shitty attention span. Now that I'm on paxil, concentration isn't a problem and I"m loving this book. I can't believe what I was missing before my anxiety was treated.

September 15, 200817 yr Paul Auster New York Trilogy Nice. I read those stories about 8 years ago and loved them. I remember city of glass being my favorite. If you like his style I highly recommend In the Country of Last Things.
September 25, 200817 yr Age of Conglomerates was pretty mediocre. Never would have guessed it from the title, huh?
