If you look at the Richard Pierce review on amazon for this book it sums up exactly what I think of this book. Exceptionally clear writing and highly recommended.

Now reading now, but very recently finished Dexter in the Dark and Stardust (again).

Reading Jim Butcher and Simon Green books, fun stuff.

did I already post this? I started it a few weeks back, then got caught up in something else, now I'm back into it. Its really really good. Sometimes Stephenson's prose gets a little too fast and tangent-y for me, but his random bits of laugh out loud humor keep me interested until I get a feel for the characters.

Yeah, that's one of my favorites by him. It just gets better and better until the end, and then it's just over.

Inglorious Basterds (sic) -- I really hope this movie gets made, it'll make up for Deathproof. Insta-classic. I would even go so far as to suggest that he leaked it on purpose, because he knows how good it is.

I'm trying swann's way again after it proved too much for my shitty attention span. Now that I'm on paxil, concentration isn't a problem and I"m loving this book. I can't believe what I was missing before my anxiety was treated.

Nice. I read those stories about 8 years ago and loved them. I remember city of glass being my favorite. If you like his style I highly recommend In the Country of Last Things.

read it 3 times already. every time i go through it i figure out new stuff or just things i read originally that dont make sense anymore upon further contemplation. excellent book if anyone wants to pick up some philosophy.
