From myt back porch wifi. This is about 3x better download and 20x better upload since I switched to Optimum. (You'll notice I've been able to do HD on my videos now.) Speed up a tick... upload up most. with ping getting much better I don't complain too much these days, because they don't ding me on my usage. tkam Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 Grahame that looks like good news, Comcast did the free speed upgrades for some of us on the East Coast last year and it sounds like they are rolling out the to the rest of the country now. When I first signed up I was on the Blast! plan which I think was 25 down 5 up. So I went to the Apple store to pick up the new version and be tempted by the Mini Retina. Unbelievably, I did not buy a Mini, but I did get the router.
