Yep!!! I sent an item to Scottland using Canada Post. The last info on their incredible precise tracking service said that the package left the country (Montreal by air) on the 23 october. Seems that the plane has not touch the ground since... I was wondering since a lot of you guys are so good with numbers and related science stuff....what is, by now, your evaluation of the package location in our solar system.... Amicalement

Here's the deal: Many of you know I've been looking for work for a good while. This company (Liberty National Insurance) has been recruiting in my area, and the spiel is enticing. Follow the plan, do the legwork, work hard, get well compensated. I've read pros and cons about this place (not unlike many/most places out there), and it's obvious some people can't hack it, and some don't get good trainers, and it just doesn't work for everyone, and that's fine. We knew what we were buying and we bought it anyway, now the wallpaper has to come down - 70% 0f all walls are covered in some form and I want to do this once only if possible. I have seen scrapers/scourers, steamers etc If you have useful advise , glad to hear it. I am trying to pay for something and I enter the persons email address and then it red it says Email Address: Please enter a valid address in the format [email protected]. Ok this happened to me 3 days ago with someone else who also has a valid email address and after 2 days of trying it magically went through (this person is a verified member of paypal). Now it is happening again and customer service is no help. Any thoughts? Should I ask the person to request the money from me? the person I am buying from sent me another address to use and that did not work either!

So looks like I will be working in DC next year, and now I have to start thinking about where to live. I prefer to be in DC, where there is easy access to the metro because I won't have a car, and my work places is near the Hill. Basically I am wondering if any of the DC/MD area folks can give me some advice, like where NOT to live if I don't want to be shot and so forth. Thanks.

I am heading to San Diego on Friday night for an Emergency Medicine conference. I'll be at the conference itself on Sunday afternoon but will have all of Saturday and Sunday morning for walking around/doing stuff. As of right now I have the San Diego zoo on the list. How much time should I realistically set aside for it? The hotel we are staying at is only a couple of miles away. Don't drink so don't care for any bars or clubs. Suggestions for must see attractions? Any food places to check out? Nothing terribly expensive please - I am living off of med school loans. Thanks, CJ.

So it's time. My aging body along with living in the smartphone world means it's time to enter bi/tri-focal/multi-focus-land. Less irritated with a new milestone of aging (that would be the recent asymmetrical stage of balding), than giving up full-range scanning, tilting/lying down head without regard of planes, losing lens areas of usability, focal points being worse than single vision for far and no glasses for near, etc. But maybe my fears are unfounded or exaggerated? Or if founded worth it? Or resistance is futile? Pretty much the only posts I've ever seen from PUGSTUB are him selling off gear, particularly PCDPs, that he seems to acquire from various places (I think at least a few came from eBay). Is that basically OK by head-fi's rules? I'm a bit confused since someone had said once to me that they don't like you making a business selling things on head-fi without being an MoT.
