  2. What the Title says people! They cost like $1.49 and you get 12 bars in the box...that's like 12 divided into $1.49 and I think it comes out to pretty cheap per bar. Yea they do! btw: there are many other greats but not one of those many others equal the single great of the Little Debbie PBCB! Oh what's that on my desk? is it a box of PBCB?... for me? noooo..you shouldn't have.. btw: just to make my point more Windex clear... the PBCB's are like the coffee of the solid world (coffee is a liquid..duh..) (mid thingy, nothing much here) (and Coffee is like OMG the best!) (Help I am stuck in this weird bubble thingy....) No LOL's Here cause I am…

Great movie. I can't think of any reason why anyone shouldn't see this flick. It took me a little while to see it, because when it was first recommended to me it was called a "dark comedy". And while in general I like "dark comedy", sometimes I find the term "dark comedy" actually means "boring" and "not funny" (think Death To Smoochy). Lots of fantastic acting, from the oldest actor (heroin using grandpa played by the always kick ass Alan Arkin) to the youngest actor (little girl, character named Olive), the characters are all real and engaging. Also starring Greg Kinnear and Steve Carrell, who continues to impress me with his incredible talent range. He'll snatch a B…

  4. Hi, thanks to Jacob (EdipisReks) I am being allowed to start this thread. The idea came about from how much some of us like the amps produced by Graham Slee combined with not many members having listened to his products. Hopefully this loaner program will allow some members the opportunity to try the gear and comment on how well it sounds and/or if improvements are needed. There are two large boxes on the way from Great Britain with the following gear: 1 Gram Amp 2 Communicator 1 Gram Amp 2 Special Edition 1 Gram Amp 3 Fanfare 1 Elevator EXP/PSU1 1 Reflex M/PSU1 1 Reflex C/PSU1 1 Solo SRGII/PSU1 1 Solo Ultra-Linear/PSU1 1 Novo 1 …

  5. On the way to the Philippines on 12/14 I will be in O'Hare from around 8am until my flight at 2pm. I don't plan on waiting the full 6 hours in the airport.....any suggestions on places I can go nearby to pass the time by? As long as it's within reasonable distance via public transportation or cab, I'm game for it. Thanks!

Ever since I watched Jude's video the other day, I've been thinking I should get a watch. Does anyone know what kind of watch he had on? It's that big faced one...I think it was digital. I would like to keep it under $500, perhaps a little more. Thanks in advance! .

I don't normally do birthday greetings for long absent Head-casers, but noticed that @Duggeh turned 40 today. Seems like only yesterday that he was a young Scottish squire experimenting with large obscure headphones. If you happen to see this, then I hope you are well, Duggeh, and would love to hear tales of your middle age! Cheers!

A month ago I visited with a new doctor. Went in for a sore arm but he saw fit to comment on my weight, ordered blood work and wanted to prescribe medication to control my blood pressure and reduce my cholesterol. Had my usual fight to find out and discuss my other options. WE finally agreed that I would reduce my weight and come back in July for a complete physical and discuss further at that time. At 300# I have a bit of tail I can stand to lose. Sadly, I've not had much trouble losing weight, but I've found it damn near impossible to keep it off. I went home and went into research mode. Came across a diet spawned from a study by the NIH (National Institute of…

There is a beep coming from somewhere in my house that I can't pinpoint. It's 3 beeps about 1/2 a second apart with one silent beat between them. It's high pitched like a fire detector but with beeps and not a solid tone. It's been going on since I got home form work today and I"m going to kill myself if I can't find it soon. I can't enjoy my beloved hd650's with this donkey fucking beep boring a hole in my brain. There's never been a worse time to be an obsessive compulsive than right now.

Our cat Jazz had been having trouble breathing for about 24 hours so we called the vet. Due to the hour we brought him to an emergency clinic. They X-Rayed his chest and found a large growth pushing on his lungs. They thought they might be able to help him out and drain some fluid, but it wasn't fluid, it was a cancerous growth. It was inits final stages and there was nothing left to do. So I let me little furry buddy go. Once when I posted a pic of him on some "post pics of your pets" thread, a fellow Head-Fier said that Jazz looked like he had a bit of the devil in him...he was right. Jazz was a kitten to he end. He sat on my lap and I listened to cans and kept my le…

I come in to work everyday at 7:30 ish... People show up at 8:30. Everyone around me is really into this fantasy football bullshit and as soon as they start showing up, like directly on top of me, they all sit there talking for like between 30-60 mins about this shit, really loud. It aint a huge deal now and then, but it seems through out the day a few of these guys in sales or whathever just keep coming back here to talk to this guy next to me for between 15-30 mins about this garbage. Anythign from a blog posting about baseball trades, to anything... I'm pretty into sports also, but I do my best not to sit on top of people talking for an hour while I see they are kinda …

  18. For the past two days I have been trying to connect our new Macbook Pro to the home wifi network. The mac can see the wifi and I select it for our connection. So far I have only been successful with - Airport green light Airport settings green light Network settings yellow light ISP etc red light The set up asks me if to restart the modem or wifi router, which I did then asks if the router or modem is connected and in line between the Mac and the router/modem. I tried both answers, yes and no, no luck. The setup also asks for a airport password which I am assuming is the network password for the wifi connection. It also …

I think it's about time to get a new mattress. I am having to sleep on my back because of my shoulder issues our bed is 9 years old. So I feel that it is not giving me the support I need (my back has been feeling sore and achey for one reason or another). I was looking at memory foam mattresses (firm or med-firm) but I am just not sure that is the way to go. We are probably going to do that or a good/firm spring mattress. We were happy with our Simmons Beautyrest for many years but the foam topping isn't holding up anymore on my side. Thoughts? I know some people here love their memory foam mattresses. I can afford a Tempur-pedic but only want to put out that…

  23. ...Things/Stuff/Places to photograph? I shall be in nyc on the 2nd and 3rd of May. There are all those bus tours one could take and absent suggestions I might just do that. However, if the locals feel my time might be better spent not doing that, I am open to suggestion. If anyone would like to walk around during the day or perhaps meet up for lunch let me know. Any company would be much appreciated. The last time I was in the city was in 3rd grade so I am looking forward to spending the 2 days walking around. Not into the whole club/bar scene (I don't drink or party). Will be at the mercy of public transportation for getting back to dad's apt in little ferry, nj so k…

Some unfinished business. Analog photography from Voltron's Mayberry on Acid Meet. Almost trashed the negatives, the proofs really sucked. (Note to self: Slow shutter + alcohol do not mix.) Took a second look and a few of the scans didn't turn out too bad.
