For the past 5 years I've been using an ISP who provides DSL service. Connection and performance has always been spotty, but tolerable. Lately it has become intolerable. Last night I was able to connect, would get part way through a post and then the connection would be lost for the next several minutes to couple of hours. After 5 years they finally sent a tech out to check the box & their connection. Tech sez everything is fine at their end. Problem apparently lies with the phone line wiring in my home. It's hard to find gifts for my dad--he's the kind of guy who kind of has everything. But today he was telling me how much he liked Superman comics when he was a kid. He wanted to know if the comic was still published. I know nothing about comics. Nothing. But I was thinking about putting together a little package of superman comics for him for Christmas. Not collector's item type stuff, just maybe a few cool things. It's the kind of thing he would never get for himself. For some reason my Firefox browser is running like crap as of late. I'm on a 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4, got 2 gigs of ram, I've defragged-run Tech Tool Pro and it still has been loading like molasses. I've ended up going back to Safari at the moment. I don't really have that many extras on mine, I've downloaded the latest and copied it over the old one... and no luck. I'm at the end of my rope. Any suggestions?

Do any headcasers live in Colorado, or spent anytime there? Melody and I are trying to come up with vacation ideas over thanksgiving (Wednesday through sunday) and are considering going to Boulder. We are looking for a relaxing vacation, nice hotel, good food, etc., but somewhere we can do cool hiking and outdoor stuff as well. I was out in Denver a couple years ago for some phish shows and thought it was beautiful, and would like to explore more of what Colorado has to offer.
