Do any of you have any recommendations for small business software. I've been looking at Quicken, Quickbooks, Turbotax etc. I've never used any of them and don't know exactly what I need. They need to be reasonably easy to use and learn as ell as not being excessively expensive. Life is a big hectic mess right now and I need something to simplify at least some of it.

need some opinions on new pickups. i am currently looking at the bill lawrence J-45s and the villex V2JSC. i have heard and played the J-45s but not the V2JSC. anyone that have heard both give some feedback?

I have a Canon EOS 40D and a 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS lens. I have been asking around randomly and was looking at lenses today with the hope of finding the perfect lens for gear pics and use at meets. The question of whether it is better to get a macro or just a wide angle lens is not completely clear to me. Several people have 50mm f2.8 macro lenses and like those, and you can even go to f1.4 with a new Sigma lens, but I think I still want it to be a zoom for greater flexibility. Talk me out of it, of course, if you think that is the best choice. The lens that looks killer to me is the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, although it is very pricey and may be overkill for me. Th…

A roommate of mine died a few years ago and everyone his family has taken all that they want to remember him by and while cleaning out the garage I found this guitar. I contacted his parents and they said that I could keep it for cleaning out all of his stuff. Hofner made a ton of hollow bodied electric guitars and I can't find this specific model. The only lettering I can find is Hofn and 1946, Berlin. The back has the serial number nv0550 andd the date 2-10-49. can you guys help me out?

Well, my trusty 1994 Corolla decided it couldn't face 2010 and died on 12/31. Thus begins a new tradition - the annual NYE walk. Transmission costs (waiting on estimate) will likely make stop repairs so I'm investigating newish car options.
