The hype on this is that it is the best "30 for 30" ESPN has ever done. The first episode was sensational. I can't wait to see more.

IMHO this show has just gotten better and better. It started out as above average and as the fan base grew, so did the maturity of the writing. The season 6 Premier was amazing and put the show right up there with some of the best of the new gen tv.

Anyone else like this show? I thought the 1st season was pretty fun, and Tricia Helfer is apparently in a few episodes this season.

Based on an Elmore Leonard character, Raylan Givens, played handily by Timothy Olyphant. Lots of guns, gals, good ol' boys, & drawls, to name a few of the Southern cliches that are unapologetically displayed in extremely charming fashion. Have to admit - Olyphant is charismatic as hell. Think I have a bit of a man-crush. Anyone else catching this new series on FX?

This is a new series premiering Sunday on AMC. It's staring Anne Frances Murphy, who played Alexis on Schitt's Creek. Looks to be a Black comedy. Certainly looks to be worth a try.

Anyone else watching this Beau Willimon/David Fincher/Kevin Spacey/Netflix project? They released all 13 episodes up front. Anyway the pilot's goofy ending scene dialog had me scared, but it's picking up.

In the same vein as the Movie and Music Lyric threads. Series: Red Dwarf Episode: Stasis leak Rimmer: Now kindly cluck off, before I extract your gibblets, and shove a large seasoned onion between the lips you never kiss with. Who likes 'em? Lena Dunham pretty much just rejiggered Tiny Furniture with a little Apatow assist, but probably the most interesting HBO series pilot I've seen in a bit. On YouTube and DailyMotion if you don't have HBO.

If there have been mentions of Dave (FXX/Hulu) here I couldn't find it on search, so let's start a thread. If you're like me and late to the party, season 2 recently started and crazy funny/smart. If you're mixed at the pilot jump to episode 3 ("Hypospadias") for a kinda amazing episode of sexual fears/intimacy.

Unbelievable that NBC could screw up The Tonight Show transition so badly. If they wanted to get rid of Leno they should have gotten all the way rid of him. Having him at 10pm undermined Conan's chances for a successful start, left doubt hanging in the air, and completely flopped as a format because Leno sucks. Instead of flip-flopping after 6 years of planning to get rid of him, they should have let him go when it failed. Now, Conan is quitting and the stupid-ass hack Leno is back at 11:30. Are they just going to pull a Dallas by giving him the show back and pretending it was all a bad dream? Conan's fuck you message to NBC is well done, imo: People of…

When the fuck did V come back on? Last I remember, it was episode 6, and it wasn't due back until 2011, now apparently there are 12 episodes (I.E. 6 that I missed)?!?!? WTF? Also, I can't find the V thread.

I came late to the Columbo show and the Cassavetes films, but few actors out there with such a low profile yet connected high stature over the years. And that little flick, Wings of Desire, where Peter Falk played an actor/ex-angel named Peter Falk... EDIT: First obits - Peter Falk, TV's rumpled Columbo, has died, Peter Falk: Beloved by comedians and cartoonists. And everybody else., Remembering Peter Falk, 1927 - 2011

I like that group "A Fine Frenzy". Just recently I saw the lead singer on Ghost Whisper. She was on CSI NY just a couple of months ago. It's neat to see her have 2 careers going. Thought I share if anyone was a fan of that group as well . Happy Holidays all

Can't wait to see how the pilot will be. Also Grace Park from the BSG series is going to be on it too Here is the article: Hawaii Five-O then and now As filming starts, commentators envision show in 21st century By Mike Gordon Advertiser Staff Writer It was stiff, serious and anything but real, yet somehow, "Hawaii Five-0" became an indelible part of its tropical setting. From 1968 to 1980, it ruled the genre of TV police dramas even as it created a vision of the Islands that was never close to the truth but…
