I'm normally a run and gun kind of player, but after repeatedly playing Firing Range map so much and losing to the biggest camping whores (lying down in the garage, hallways, etc.) I decided to show them what REAL camping is about. Ok, so the Boy wants a video game console. I want to get him one that we can use together. My initial assumption was Wii U, but it is getting mixed reviews. What do you guys think? XBOX with Kinect? Basically, I want something that has good multi-player, non-shooting games. So lots of sports titles and things that the Boy can physically do instead of just using the controller. Don't care about Blu-Ray, etc.

I've been playing this quite a bit recently; does anyone else on here play? If you haven't heard of it before, it's a realistic zombie survival simulator that is simple AWESOME! Imagine hopping on vent/skype with a few friends, and spending 1-2 hours to find each other, and then try to survive. You can die by zombies, which are all controlled by AI, other players gunning you down (or you can cooperate with them), or by hunger/thirst/injuries, so it is not just another zombie game where you gun down everything you see. Anyone try the Beta? I liked it a lot, despite the bugs. They did fix a lot of them during the Beta, so they were certainly working their asses off at DICE. I played the XBox 360 version, but the frame rate is too slow, 30fps and slower sometimes. I really want that silky smooth 60fps. Also the PC version looks soooooo much better. I've loved Battlefield since the original 1942 and BF2. I've not been a fan of the Consoled Bad Company versions, though. I am just finishing up Mass Effect for the first time, and immediately wanted to replay it as a different character. I love RPGs that have really high replay value. I think ME will be good for at least another good play through. This got me thinking about other games I've owned (specifically RPGs) and whether or not it was fun to replay them. Yes, I have lost my mind and spent an assload on actually getting the Fanatec CSR Wheel, shifter, and Elite Pedals like in this picture (not mine pictured, but I have the same set up, including the stand). I'm just not into computer games ... I guess I spend to much time at the keyboard and really want to go ride my motorcycles. I've been playing this for a couple of weeks and this is one of the more fun physics based puzzle games I've played. And I do enjoy my physics games World of Goo is an indie developed game that has you use blobs of goo to try and build structures that will lead the goo to their freedom by an exit pipe. Which is better and why?

Thinking about buying one or the other for my two sons for xmas. They currently have a PS2. I don't think they would be interested in playing any of their old games, and not sure what newer games they are interested in, though I would guess it would be Call of Duty, etc. I know they used to play the ones where you run around the city being a gangsta of some type, forget the name (keep thinking Sin City, but that was a movie) So, which one to go for? From what I understand, PS3 is free online whereas X-box requires a subscription? Also, any deals out there would be appreciated. 2011 looks like it's going to be another busy year for great games and in the next month or so I'll be looking at getting: Killzone 3, Bulletstorm, Dragon Age 2, Dawn of War II: Retribution and maybe Homefront. What games are you guys looking forward to picking up this year?

Pac Man win

So I told myself I wouldn't play Fallout 3 until I completely exhausted Oblivion. Well I haven't completely exhausted Oblivion, but I thought I'd play Fallout 1 and 2 before I play Fallout 3.
