Good thing happened too today, as comfortation. I got this today: This is the egmont clone that Birgir bought from China website. I was thinking for a long time for amplifier upgrade but I did not want to take 10 steps at a time, cuz I really want to progress slowly, for it's better and joyful to do. So with Birgir helping me a lot about lots of things, I bought it for the half of the price Birgir spent on it (not a discount, you can see how much he spent on this topic). Amplifier is extremely good for the money I spent, I've never listened it before modified but I read how bad it was before modified by him. But hey, he has magical hands. I mean, It is better than current top tier amps of Stax, imho. Thanks again Birgir. ps: I sold the bubble wraps and made some profit. Btw, I started to work about that top closure immediately. For a long time I wanted to work on granite. I'm making a granite cover for top of it. If I can succeed, I'll let you know when I start to work on full granite enclosures. I'm not trolling either, by the way. I realize I'm in the slim minority here, and understand how exciting that news would be to a lot of people were it true. In interest of peace and harmony and so forth, I try my best to avoid politics (on Headcase, anyway). But I just love that asshole with his "wrong" schtick, makes me laugh every time.

I'm digging my Surface 4 so far. It has some issues from time to time but nothing I can't deal with. The keyboard works well. When I am using it, I tend to use the trackpad instead of the touchscreen. Just habit I guess. Way better in my office than my 5.5 year old MBA but that is to be expected. I'm glad I opted for 16 gb and 512 drive.

Nice capture, Mikey. Just when I had finally relaxed and said to myself, "Ehh, it's just a couple of seconds. Nobody will notice that my beard wasn't quite 'Santa white' yet..." They called me on a Friday afternoon, wanting to know if I was available on Saturday morning! This was Nov 5th. My first events for the season are actually tonight and then this weekend. So I was thinking I'd have a chance to bleach a couple more times to "get there" before I'd need to make an appearance. I always plan to be camera-ready by mid-November and then work backwards with my bleaching schedule. It usually takes 10-12 times. In that video, I had bleached 9 times. Today will be the 10th. I've actually let it go for a couple of weeks just to give it a bit of a break. I've learned that if I get too aggressive early on, then I could have serious breakage in the middle of December -- not good! Wish my hair was naturally white, but it's definitely not in the genetics on my dad's side especially.

Yes Dusty, Bandages used on serum needles. I'll use spay/neuter procedure as fast as when they become 1 y.o. For others/elders we're waiting for winter. When winter passed, just before matting season we'll do that. My only solacement is we've and could done everything we can. Seeing her dead body in garden would be much much worse. Thank you sir.

Oh, okay, I thought she was the one with bandages on her front legs. Maybe that was from some medical procedure? Yeah, you're not kidding. My sister has been all over the world, and pretty much everywhere she has gone has been overrun with stray cats. Spay/neuter! It's the only long-term solution, and it will do wonders to change the humans' perception of these wonderful creatures. Condolences again.

Well, ordered. Also, Silver Papier is an "in stock" color and cheaper. I can't wait to get them and hopefully it won't be too tricky to get them installed. I have some electrical work to do in the room and reconfiguring the closet. Then I want to do some recessed lighting (doesn't look too hard to DIY, mostly need to map out where the joists are above) then will look at the ceiling treatments. That's my end year goal for the room.

So I've been playing with a Surface Pro 3 all week and I have to say, generally I'm very impressed. Windows 10 is way less awful than expected and the Surface itself is pretty awesome. I haven't reached for my iPad once. The real test will be upcoming travel where the plan is to only take the surface with me and see if I can survive a short trip. I think for content consumption it's more than adequate and the typecover is something I'd tried to implement on tablets before with terrible results. Granted, it's not a perfect solution but my #1 surprise is how much I like the hybrid experience of browsing with a touch screen but still having a trackpad for other things. Based on this I'll be eyeing the release of the rumored Surface 5 with interest.
