I just realized that my sharp 65 inch will be 10 years old in august. And there are visible streaking and non-uniformities. So its time to replace it.4 points

really think you should add the t2 current source modified with 2sc4686 and cascade current source to drive the led reference, that still synthesizes the best of everything3 points

Mmm! I loves me some chicken and dumplings! That's one of my fav recipes in Prudhomme's cookbook (creole version).2 points

dumplings are closely related to biscuits. They're just cooked in chicken stew instead of in an oven. And boy howdy, that worked well.2 points

I do believe that the T2 current source is the one to aim for. But that’s only for the squirrels and the boys with big pockets filled with c4686. If you want a CCS based on components from Mouser or equivalent then I think 10m90s is good enough for most people, including myself. But we should look for alternatives for 10m90s so in that respect I’m grateful to Kerry’s work. I’ve had a T2 with c4686 and isolated switching power supplies for a while and I really like that amplifier. Probably the cascaded current source for driving the LED is preferred but I like the isolated things. Maybe I should try current source for driving LED, anyone have a schematic?1 point

I'm getting ball-achingly close to pulling the trigger on a TV. Not sure what you're planning for a front end, Stretch, and where, but for me I ended up using a pair of these to route cables out of sight. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Q7F030/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=11 point

A little breakout board for the AD5254 digital potentiometer... so I can dynamically bias the Dynalo through my phone (through a uC). 256 step resolution but lowest full wiper resistance seems to be 1k so 3.9 ohm per step.1 point

Max Richter, Sleep (the full 8-hour version, made 9 by tacking on "from Sleep" to the playlist) -- this is the most beautiful and most tranquil music I've ever heard. I've heard new age music described as music "...with all the evil taken out of it." Well, I don't like it when they take all the evil out of it (except for medicinal purposes -- e.g., Steven Halpern's music), then you get static music like Brian Eno's ambient works. In this case, they left just enough in.1 point

Just had to try the DC/DC converter. Converter in red circle. According to the datasheet the converter is rated at 1400VAC 60 Hz for one minute. So one of four current sources has the converter. Seems to work. Regarding spikes mentioned earlier I’ve done some "googling" and I believe the issue can be solved.1 point
