"So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you"

LOL...on the Mr. Moore bit.  I saw this late last night and had gone down the rabbit recently on his collection (streaming not owned).  Thought there might be some confusion, but at least you have good taste :)

RIP, Ms. Zizi...

Gary Moore YouTube comment:

"Don't always listen to Gary Moore but when I do so do the neighbours."

RIP Peter Green

Saw Fleetwood Mac in 68-69? with Green.

All I really remember was that it was LOUD!

The first time I saw a WEM (Watkins Electric Music) PA sytem.

They played in an old wooden building called the Atlanta Sports Arena where you either stood or sat on wooden bleachers.

Actress Olivia de Havilland, possibly last of Old Hollywood, dies at 104

Born in Tokyo, grew up in California, settled in Paris.

De Havilland’s specialty was the demure, soulful beauty. “Playing bad girls is a bore,” she once claimed. “I have always had more luck with good-girl roles, because they require more from an actress.” But the actor’s soft exterior concealed a core of steel. In the 1940s she successfully sued Warner Bros in a landmark ruling that helped break the stranglehold of the US studio system.

As a side note, when younger and I needed an alternative name for a variety of reasons, it was Max Havilland, the last name from her.

RIP Mrs de Havilland. Great actress, classic movies that will stand forever.

Wow - a Hollywood legend eventually goes. RIP Olivia de Havilland. 104 is not an unreasonable age to go; born half way through the First World War.

RIP John Saxon. Moving on to other worlds.
