I myself like the look of the VTI BL404 rack, but I hear people tell me that it's not a very good one. =T The Lovan racks are nice, but I don't like the light colored shelves. I'm assuming you mean the tweeter plate. The binding post plate is very stout. Nice cd player I picked up off ebay .... Earl how many sources do you have? I think it's a Unico Reks. Very nice! It's goint to allow me to run the K1000 off of the speaker taps of the Beta22 (or Consonance integrated), and just unplug it to use the front mounted XLR jacks for other headphones.
