March 30, 201115 yr Author Snarky response #2: MM == Mo' Money? Pop quiz -- we had the Windows decompression function show up a bug recently, wherein the decompressed file was 800PB, and there were ten of them. The guy works from home, and we're pretty sure he doesn't have a disk farm greater than 8 ??. So the question is, what comes after petabyte? (You can easily look up the answer, but how many of you people already knew the answer before looking it up?)
March 30, 201115 yr This will still be the most lolworthy expensive watch even more hideous than that world Patek $625000
March 30, 201115 yr Author exa->zeta->yotta. everybody knows that.Well, alright, when you say it like that...of course. (waves hands vaguely in typical superior know-it-all fashion)
April 1, 201115 yr What is everyone wearing on this lovely Friday/April Fools Day/Openingish Day? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 1, 201115 yr April Fools are funny. I'm wearing what I always wear: Edited April 1, 201115 yr by Voltron
April 1, 201115 yr I ALWAYS make sure to wear my watches in base 64! Edit: Darn, you fixed it. Edited April 1, 201115 yr by revolink24
April 8, 201115 yr No picture I was able to find online really does it justice, but this is my new watch. A gift from KLPG for our anniversary. My first 'fancy' watch not purchased on canal st. Edited April 8, 201115 yr by philodox
April 15, 201115 yr A work in progress. Making the zipper pull for the red oxx bag gave me a watch strap idea. Now I just need to find the right buckle, then make it again with a buckle
April 16, 201115 yr Author If it was elastic at all, is there a way you can just braid from one end to the other? Oh, and yes: very cool.
April 16, 201115 yr You could pick a braid with more give, I'd guess. I don't think I'd like that tho, I don't want my watch moving like that while I'm wearing it.
April 19, 201115 yr Unfortunately all the work I have been doing has cut into my watch purchasing. Took the day off after a morning appointment and picked up a watch in the city and bought some others on the Interweb. Got this guy. and bought a Doxa 5000 and a Kobold SS. My collection of everyday wear watches is getting very diver heavy. Now I need some more pilots.
April 26, 201115 yr Jeff, you are out of control and I like it. Take a look at the IWC pilots. They are priced a bit out of my range so I would likely get a Stowa pilot watch, if I was in the market again. My next watch will be any Ocean 7 LM-4 v2 ceramic case. I wish my Speedmaster would get back from Omega already. I think I have another 2 weeks at least.
April 26, 201115 yr ^^^ I'm not really a watch guy, but I like that watch. Same here. Seriously. Lusting.
April 26, 201115 yr Dew et Al. I love Panerai but as I've said before, just a bit out of range at the moment.
