  • Same as every gay bar I've ever entered.

  • We lost power for about 12 hours which is nothing, all things considered, and we've got the generator/transfer-switch so it was really only out for 4 hours because I didn't feel like setting it all up

  • Side benefit of all the late snow, the ability to snowshoe with the kids.  Got andrew out for a little walk in the woods this afternoon.

Stay warm and safe, guys. I can't imagine how it feels being that cold.

Allison asked this morning if I thought this might be the last snowfall for the year. Major lol'd.

Just checked the weather in thailand. Going to be rocking 100 degree differential. It was minus teens this morning.

15 cm of fluffy is currently falling on us here.  If it's not -30, it's snowing.  This winter blows goats.

It was snowing as I drove through DC today, but nothing was sticking.  No snow here yet, I'm hoping it's less than an inch or 2 at 6am, so I can get down my hill.  I didn't feel like walking up it.

Just washed mine while it was snowing, though only slightly.  :)

Happy Spring!

We had some VERY slight "sleety" accumulation on the grass this a.m., nothing bad.

If there is any snow in MI when I get back I will be pissed. I left for 5 weeks hoping it would all melt, after all.

x3. I have to admit that it was pretty nice not needing to buy my Zyrtec D until 4-5 days ago. I think last year I was drugging allergy meds by early March.

I'm with you Bryan, just started my regiment last week....but it did hit me a bit tough last night since I forgot to take one yesterday.....

I drove home through the proverbial "Wintery  Mix" tonight, after working for 13 hrs.  It was mostly snow, and through baltimore traffic, so filled with idiots.  Luckily, I drive faster than they do, so I made it home.

Also, it was 35, so the roads weren't slippery.

Have either of you tried Nasacort? It's the first OTC nasal corticosteroid used to treat allergies. I used to do Allegra D, Claritin D etc. but none of them fully relieved my sinus issues. Nasacort has done that to the point that I use no other allergy meds except for a rare spray of something like Afrin. And I do mean rare. Once or twice a week when I feel a bit stuffy.

Might be worth a try for both of you.

Mike - Is it OTC? I definitely agree that it would help my nose a whole bunch, but the seasonal allergens also seem to really affect my eyes. I typically switch to glasses during the worst part of spring because contacts become a nightmare with all the watering and itchyness. Zyrtec D has helped a lot, makes it bearable at minimum and normal a majority of the time.
