November 2, 201114 yr comment_478391 Heck, when I'm hung over I just medicate with what made me ill. The tricky part is knowing the right dosage. Speaking of those banana packs, this is often practiced in Latvia as well. Pay about 30$ and get hooked up on an IV for an hour. One of my former bosses has a wife who works at the rehab center for alcoholics and he often used that stuff. Though I'm not sure about how that stuff affects you on the long run. Just makes you drink more until your liver goes to paste. Report
November 2, 201114 yr comment_478393 Never mind glencairn glasses with the headcase logo, is there a market for IV banana bags with the Head Case Logo? Group Buy? Report
November 3, 201114 yr comment_478412 I get the jar-head reference but not the doggie one. I was in the Army but it was back in the 80s so the vernacular may have changed. Which branch are doggies? "Dogs" is a term that Marines used in the early 70s to reference Army personnel. "Squids" is what we called the Navy pukes. Report

November 3, 201114 yr comment_478417 What about Whiskey bags? I like where you are going... but it kind of sounds like a couple of ladies you take home from the bar at the end of a long night... Report

November 3, 201114 yr comment_478449 I'd like to need one. Only on my second cocktail after some lousy wine though. I may not have the stamina to get drunk. Report
January 1, 201214 yr comment_489559 Celebrating New Year's with a hangover that Charles Bukowski could be proud of. This sucker is so massive it can be seen from outer space. Happy New Year's everybody - and remember, don't drink too much cask strength whisky. That stuff bites!. Report
January 1, 201214 yr comment_489629 throwing up is generally a hangover prevention. You got the poison out. Report
February 20, 201214 yr comment_498836 holy fuck am I. approximately 23 hrs after I stopped drinking, I still am not at 100%. Last night, at the hockey tournament, I put away about 2/3 of a bottle of mount gay 100 proof Eclipse Black. I threw up repeatedly last night. I woke up, drank some gatorade, and threw up again. I barely managed to check out of the hotel by noon. No more liquor at hockey tournaments. I'll bring a 6 pack at most. The loss of judgement from the first glass too rapidly leads to additional lapses of judgement. Report
July 16, 201214 yr comment_526042 And here I am again. Too much, at too high an altitude, and then didn't get enough sleep. Report
