so far it's pretty solid on my mini. I think there are lots of variables.

Crashed on upgrade, then fresh installed and restored backup. That worked. Then set it up. The crashed. Now it wants to setup as a new device. Hrm..

Works ok on my iPhone 4. I like it.

I forgot about the stupid dance we have to do if we are only 1 year into a contract on a phone.  Any easy suggestions for upgrading to the 5s on Verizon without paying full retail?

What Dan said, Gazelle will give you $300 for a 5 (16GB is $310, 64GB is strangely only $320) which would cut the cost of the 5S significantly but they want insane $$ for the off contract phones ($849 for a 64GB, jebus).  Or you could sell it to me...PM me if you want to talk. 

FYI: T-Mobile sells the 5s for 99/199/299 down payment with their payment plan, and it is the global unlocked version.

Did Verizon start doing voice over LTE yet? That version is nuts! Dude listed off the bands for me. Crazy. I went in to check something on my phone and talked shop a bit.

It's impossible to tell which movie is what on iPad without a proper cover art now - movie titles are no longer shown below.

Aside from having a proper cover art for movies? None that I've found. I usually add cover art as I add movies to iTunes library so not a huge issue for me.

Yeah, tried this. It inevitably crashes at some point after the restore and then acts like a new device. It is very strange. I am waiting for the next point release at this point...

How do you folks like iOS 7 thus far?

I like it mostly. It's still a little buggy and I'd like more control over colors.

I couldn't imagine going back. The improvements in functionality far outweigh any minor issues with the visuals, which I really like as a whole.

My biggest issue is with Safari. When you click on a link, and then go back, you end up at the top of the page and not scrolled to where you left. Seems to be a well documented bug, so I'm sure it'll get addressed in a new update.

I've heard that the Apple Genius will help if you're screwed/bricked by their iOS software update, even if warranty is out.  Might be true.
