September 29, 201411 yr comment_654463 One of my photo buddies passed away last year on October 23, and I miss him greatly. I really liked how he could look at just about any photo, accurately guess what the photographer was going for (not always easy for me...) and offer something constructive to improve it or just say its awesome. Check out his Flickr Stream here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/bobjagendorf/ Anyways, I was out shooting this weekend and I thought he would have liked this.... Masts by Lord Nikon 12, on Flickr Edited: Does anyone know of a GoPro mount that goes DIRECTLY from the gopro waterproof case to an Arca-swiss style plate? I found a few that use the quick-release GoPro foot, but fuck that. Edited September 29, 201411 yr by nikongod Report
September 29, 201411 yr comment_654483 Why don't people who shoot vertical video kill themselves? Or at least learn to shoot properly. Either way is fine, but one of them should be implemented across the board. Pffft. I have an old half frame that shoots vertical. Awesome camera. Report

November 13, 201411 yr comment_660271 My daughter (almost 12) is on the yearbook staff at her magnet school. Her grade went on a field trip to the Atlanta Aquarium, and she was one of four people allowed to take a camera. I set her up with my Canon SL1 with a 28-105 F/3.5-4.5 and a few tips on shooting. This was only her second time shooting a dSLR. She got a lot of pix of her classmates, but this pic I fell in love with. **BRENT** Report
