November 15, 200817 yr Gross some people cancelled there bids and now I'm the high bidder. Biggie. Congrats then
November 16, 200817 yr Gross some people cancelled there bids and now I'm the high bidder. Biggie. I'm so sorry.
November 16, 200817 yr Look on the bright side. At the current price, its a steal compared to the previous one that sold on ebay. I don't think you have to worry though, the price is sure to shoot up like crazy in the dying minutes of the auction.

November 16, 200817 yr Gross some people cancelled there bids and now I'm the high bidder. Biggie. Be honest, you really want them so you can use them at work and banish the SR-60's.
November 16, 200817 yr Be honest, you really want them so you can use them at work and banish the SR-60's. Yeah but I'm gonna need a payday advance to pay for them. Biggie.
November 17, 200817 yr Yeah but I'm gonna need a payday advance to pay for them. Biggie. At least...you still have fund to pay for them!!
November 18, 200817 yr Author 30 seconds left, $2,650. ... $3,161.00 final, a bargain at twice the price.
November 18, 200817 yr 30 seconds left, $2,650. ... $3,161.00 final, a bargain at twice the price. woot nice jumping price  congratulation the winner and sorry for his/her wallet :palm:
November 18, 200817 yr The guy who paid 4700$ for the pair on sale before that one must feel kind of bad. A difference of 1600$ for small scratches on the cups. He probably doesn't give a shit though if he could afford paying 4700$ on a pair of PS-1.
November 18, 200817 yr scratches + godawful chrome Yeah, I might pay $3,161 not to see that thing ever again.
November 18, 200817 yr Yeah, I might pay $3,161 not to see that thing ever again. First thing I'd do is send the cups off to be refinished. I'm thinking that making them the only black anodized PS-1s might actually make them worth something.
November 18, 200817 yr I was watching that auction as well to see how high it would go. Congrats to the winner if you're here. Sure beats the last price of $4700
November 18, 200817 yr Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if the 'last' PS-1 from the collection is a one of a kind 24k gold plated version with no scratches.... or a sterling silver plated + diamond encrusted version.... Imagine what it'll fetch.
November 18, 200817 yr First thing I'd do is send the cups off to be refinished. I'm thinking that making them the only black anodized PS-1s might actually make them worth something. Wow, that is a sweet idea!
November 18, 200817 yr Wow, that is a sweet idea! Yeah, and as usual I lack the funds to even entertain doing something like that. I designed some custom aluminum grado cups a couple years ago but was put off by the fabrication costs. I may revisit the idea some day if I can find a pair of wounded or abused 225s cheap.
November 18, 200817 yr If there was a way to get that much bass out of an MS2/i that would be nice. Aside from the Alessandro markings, IIRC people sell those aluminum cups for about $50.
December 25, 200817 yr Author Not quite as noteworthy as PS-1s, but there's some guy selling HP2s right now.
December 26, 200817 yr Not quite as noteworthy as PS-1s, but there's some douchey fucking dolphin selling HP2s right now. ftfy
December 26, 200817 yr Author ftfy ? I'm ignorant on the backstory here. Is the seller a head-fier with a bad reputation that I unaware of (whch would be all of them, I don't read head-fi.)
December 26, 200817 yr Might be the guy who had 2 accounts @ hfi, buy with one, sell back at higher price with other. Remember he had a name similar to waddragon and might have been located in Berkeley too.
December 26, 200817 yr Might be It's the guy asshat who had 2 accounts @ hfi, buy with one, sell back at higher price with other. Remember he had a name similar to waddragon and might have been located in Berkeley too. FIFY
