Of course it is going to be released during my vacation and not right before because that would have been way too easy.

Damnit, I was hoping to play with Lion this weekend, too, since next weekend is practically shot with my mom visiting.

Lion looks an awesome upgrade for the price, even Paul Thurrot likes it! Too bad they didn't update the look more, especially the Dock which looks a bit dated IMO.

That's why I said IMO. :D

I like OS X, but I'm not a big fan of the Dock and find Windows 7 taskbar a lot more functional and prettier also.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings. :(

I leave for vacation a week from tomorrow so I'm hoping that I will have time to grab one, if available to take on the trip.

Dude. At the risk of continuing this as the Mac Rumors Repost Thread...

Apple's Upcoming Hardware Refresh to Include Thunderbolt LED Display, Not MacBook

New Apple displays have been a long time in coming. I don't know if I like the idea of a display that only supports Thunderbolt, seeing every machine I currently own lacks it. Display connectors have become a very murky subject recently. DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort and now Thunderbolt have me pining for the days of single and dual-link DVI. I wonder when we can expect to see Eizo displays that support the new standards.

They sure do look pretty. I wish I had money/space for one. Your post also makes me wish I can find my Animaniacs DVDs.

Yay!

Oh wait, I've vowed never to fly again so I don't need one anymore.
