July 13, 201115 yr comment_457844 I saw that earlier. It looks like MBP updates in August and MBA/Mini's tomorrow. Report
July 14, 201115 yr comment_458027 Of course it is going to be released during my vacation and not right before because that would have been way too easy. Report
July 14, 201115 yr comment_458037 So it's Jeff's fault. Like washing a car on a sunny day. Jeff, you don't think you can move your vacation up? Report
July 14, 201115 yr comment_458044 Damnit, I was hoping to play with Lion this weekend, too, since next weekend is practically shot with my mom visiting. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458102 Payday is tomorrow too. How on earth am I supposed to leave that money just sitting in an account all weekend? Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458112 Lion looks an awesome upgrade for the price, even Paul Thurrot likes it! Too bad they didn't update the look more, especially the Dock which looks a bit dated IMO. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458114 That's why I said IMO. I like OS X, but I'm not a big fan of the Dock and find Windows 7 taskbar a lot more functional and prettier also. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458208 Sorry if I hurt your feelings. Don't worry, I'm not in love with the osx aesthetic either. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458210 I never bothered, but I like how people have been moving the dock to the left side vertically. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458235 I've always had a side dock. works better when using multiple screens. Report

July 15, 201115 yr comment_458259 Of course it is going to be released during my vacation and not right before because that would have been way too easy. I leave for vacation a week from tomorrow so I'm hoping that I will have time to grab one, if available to take on the trip. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458288 Dude. At the risk of continuing this as the Mac Rumors Repost Thread... Apple's Upcoming Hardware Refresh to Include Thunderbolt LED Display, Not MacBook New Apple displays have been a long time in coming. I don't know if I like the idea of a display that only supports Thunderbolt, seeing every machine I currently own lacks it. Display connectors have become a very murky subject recently. DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort and now Thunderbolt have me pining for the days of single and dual-link DVI. I wonder when we can expect to see Eizo displays that support the new standards. Report
July 15, 201115 yr comment_458301 They sure do look pretty. I wish I had money/space for one. Your post also makes me wish I can find my Animaniacs DVDs. Report
