No time ... busy refreshing my Apple Store page so I can buy. evil.gif

It does look pretty nice, and they're keeping the 2 alive for a while at lower price.

Gang, the iPad Mini was a complete success.  He was so happy.  Thanks for the guidance!

Hurry up with the new improved retina Mini, please Apple. I want to buy a couple before Al sues you out of existence!

  • I will make Colin start camping out at the Apple Store tomorrow to get mine for me.

Wow same pricing as the ipad2 with retina display. I am sold.

I just got time to surf and read about the announcement. What immediately struck me was, 'who is that guy on stage, it's not Steve Jobs!'. Felt weird.

The screen is going to be gorgeous. I really expected more updates to the software though, considering how awesome Windows 8 is looking for tablet usage.

Can anyone get into the store?

Hmm, well I do not see any reason why I would want to update from my iPad 2 so I will at least be holding off if not skipping the ipad 3 altogether.

Agreed. While I'm sure the 3 will be nicer the 2 is more than enough for my needs. iPad 1 owners have got to be a little bummed though since the value of those has to have just fallen off a cliff.

Screen should be nice, but I really like the increase in RAM.

I should add that I'm still running an iPad 1, though, so I think it's time to upgrade, anyway.

It's hilarious to me that there is not a single post about the iPad3 announcement going on right now. afro.gif

They are all busy ordering...

I cannot figure out if I should upgrade the ipad 1....

Are you tipsy?

I'll sell my iPad 1. Probably no one wants it now...

Jim, what was the case you got for you're iPad2? I remember liking it, but can't remember what it was now. Anyone else love his/her case?

What have you done with Shelly?

It's a Yoobao case and I still like it.

Well, there is the Stax SR-009 that I now have to save up for... and the plumbing bill we haven't got yet. :(

I pre-ordered but haven't decided whether I will keep the order. I am being so rational. There must be something wrong with me.

I'm seriously considering cutting the bike budget by a LOT, and going with an iPad New. I'm wondering if a 16gig Wifi with a nice folio would go for say, 200$?

That, or let the kids use/share it. My mom doesn't have a computer, maybe I could talk her into getting a basic cable internet package and introduce to her the wide world of the internets.

That screen is just SICK! Seriously. I figured they'd keep it the same price, but I was kinda surprised they did. I'm thinking how nice it will be to do something like Air Display or Splashtop now.

Did anyone confirm how much RAM is in it yet? It's gotta be a gig, right? 756?

Some prices below. Obviously could get more if selling yourself. NPR had a resell price breakdown of venor for old versions at moment of new model announcement, moment at retina statement, moment at price listing, etc. Dropping, dropping...
