I need a little Head Case advice and attitude. I received a pm yesterday from the other site regarding the EC/SS I put up for sale a month ago. The buyer is new and has three posts and no feedback to his credit. The prospective buyer has offered to pick up postage and PayPal costs and wants me to ship the EC/SS to Israel. I live in Southern California and the thought of shipping something outside of North America has me a little concerned about the amp ever arriving even if insured or the buyer claiming the amp never arrived. I am well aware many of you are from head-fi. I read somewhere that mentioning this site on head-fi can get you banned. I never mentioned it but i've been banned for a few months. It was supposed to be a temporary ban for 1 month but that didn't happen. So i messaged then and got no response. In response to such i made a new account which was banned again. So i tried again and it was also banned with every post being deleted. So in frustration i have now created a new account and issued an appeal on the website itself hoping they will have a heart and at least tell me whats going on. I dropped by the bookstore today on my way home from work and leafed through a copy of the Stereophile "Recommended Components" issue. It was depressing, and quite unbelievable. For one thing, there's an average of 10-15 components in the "Class A" list in every single category of gear. This is close to and in some cases exceeds the number of components listed in "Class B", and in all cases it exceeds the number of "Class C" components. That ain't right. Am I supposed to believe that there's more "best of the best" gear than solid decent bang for the buck stuff? That for every piece of "above average" gear there's 5 pieces of "best of the best gear"?
